Using Nochex and bank Transfer instead of paypal

It would appear that in recent years ebay and paypal have scored an own goal, especially in the uk.

They have applied fees to everything they can, paypal has been freezing accounts for no reason what so ever, and then they banned the use of nochex on here, that was until the uproar it caused, They made a very fast U-Turn.

NoChex is a uk based company, offereing better protection for sellers than paypal ever has, better fees, better security, basically better everything. Thats why they banned them in the 1st place.

Ebay and paypal knew it was stiff competition from nochex, so decided to ban the use of them. But it was unfair trading by doing so. They DID NOT ANNOUNCE THAT NOCHEX IS ACCEPTED AGAIN.

its little wonder why so many people are leaving paypal at such a fast rate.

Nochex benefits are:

Lower fees,

Free to transfer money to your bank,

only 2-4 days wait rather than 5-7 days for funds to go into bank.

Very secure, requires more passwords than paypal.

Offers better seller protection.

Then there is INSTANT BANK TRANSFER.

Basically an instant bank transfer is sending money from one bank to another, its free to do, and takes from 1-3 days to clear.

Many people now prefer to pay this way which is why more and more people are offering it on their listings.

Its fast, safe, and can speed up transaction processes.

Benefits of intant bank transfer.

Exceptionally fast.

Free.

You do not give any more information than whats on a Cheque.

Convienient.

As a seller all you do is send your buyer your name as on the card, account number and sort code, plus the bank its with. YOU NEVER GIVE YOUR 3 DIGIT VERIFICATION NUMBER ON BACK OF CARD, ANY DIGITS FROM THE 16 DIGIT FRONT NUMBER, OR EXPIRY DATES.

in order for someone to access your account they need the 3 digit verification number, 16 digit front number and expiry dates, without these nothing can be accessed, so it is a very fast and safe method. if you ever recieve an email saying they need these, just delete it as they are after scamming you.

plus, always log into your bank via the homepage, never through links etc, just to protect yourself that bit more.

For Buyers:

You will be sent the account information you need, do not request any information extra to that supplied, you dont need it.

You can then phone your bank, give them the amount to transfer, and the details supplied. The rest they do for you.

You can also do it via E-Banking, log into your account, click payment options, transfer money, and then select the appropriate option.

Its best to stick to people in your own country for bank transfer, it makes it easier and faster.

I reccomend bank transfer for buyers with feedback of positive 30+ and no less than 95% total score.( obviously no africans and other typical scammers)

Paypal:

paypal is still used for very small transactions on buy it now. We wont offer it for larger items anymore.

This is down to the ridiculous running and fees assosciated with them.

They can freeze your account for:

Using different computers to log in,

Buying to much,

offering other payment options.

Linking more than 1 ebay account to them.

Nothing.

Scratching your head.

I have heard and seen them do this for no reason, They limit your account so MONEY CAN STILL GO IN, but you CANT TAKE IT OUT.

A disputed account can be limited for 90 days, Then if they feel like it, they will email you telling you that the accounts been closed. WHERES YOUR MONEY????? yep, you guessed it.

They will give you no explanations, no reasons, no evidence of why. ITS YOUR MONEY THEY TAKE.

now people are taking them to small claims courts, and 9/10 times are winning.

Paypals reputation is damaged, and by itself!

You need security of knowing you can access funds when you want, you dont get that with paypal, it can be blocked FOR NO REASON.

Basically, Ebay spams you with paypal info, sign up to paypal, the safest way. yer right. EVEN TO LIST SOMETHING AS BUY IT NOW WITH IMMEDIATE PAYMENT YOU MUST HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. THATS NOT RIGHT.

USE PAYPAL ONLY IF YOU MUST, AND IF YOU MUST, THEN WAIT UNTILL THE FUNDS ARE CLEARED TO YOUR BANK BEFORE SENDING, OTHERWISE YOU MAY FIND YOU SENT MANY ITEMS, PAID POSTAGE COSTS ETC, FOR PAYPAL TO RETURN ALL OF THE MONEY TO BUYERS. THEN YOUR OUT OF POCKET.

Thanks for looking and hope this helps.
