Sound Advice for NEW SELLERS!!!

As an experienced Seller, I would advise New Sellers to Check Buyers addresses once an item has been purchased as some Buyers do tend to ask Sellers to send Items to "another address". DO NOT DO THIS. They are more than likely to be con-artists than real honest buyers. To check their address that is on Ebay's File, go the royal mail website royalmail.com, register (its free) and then you can check the postcode to their address, if their address has not got a Postcode, email the Buyer BEFORE sending out the Item asking them for their Postcode, then check it with Royal Mail. If it does not match the address, there is your answer! Good, Honest Ebayers will not have ANYTHING to hide! Also, obtain Proof of Postage! You can get "Certificates of Posting" from any Sorting /DeliveryOffice - FREE!! Some buyers rely on you (the Seller) not getting Proof of Posting so they can ask for a refund should their Item not arrive!!! When it has! Getting more than they bargained for and the Seller losing out - NOT GOOD!!!!For Valuable Items - Use Recorded Delivery (Signed for) or Special Delivery (Guaranteed before 1pm the following day). Again, you can track these items, once sent, atroyalmail.com and see who has signed for them. It shows you the Signature of that person and they write their SURNAME in CAPITALS underneath - along with the time/date.Here's to a Happy, Honest Ebay Community....Crack down on Crime - altogether - we'll crack it!I hope this helps - Please vote below or contact me via my Shop!
